Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire R&T Mandan Spray Foam Insulation to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean R&T Mandan Spray Foam Insulation and our crew. "You" means the person using the site or hiring us. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work through it.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Mandan, ND. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, seal air leaks, put down vapor barriers and remove old insulation for homes and businesses in Mandan, Bismarck and the cities around them.

The service descriptions on this site are general information to help you understand the work. They aren't a promise that a particular product or method fits your house. We decide that with you after we've seen the attic, walls, crawl space or basement, and the scope we agree on is written into your estimate. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done on site, because we need to see the space before we can price it fairly. An estimate covers the work it describes, at the prices it lists, for the period it states.

Prices on an estimate can change if the job turns out to be different from what we could see. That usually means wet, moldy or pest-damaged insulation that has to come out first, hidden damage in the framing, or changes you ask for once work has started. If that happens, we'll stop, explain what we found and get your approval before doing work that costs more than the estimate.

Scheduling and cancellation

We'll set a date with you once you approve the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, earlier jobs running long or conditions at your house can move that date, and if it changes we'll let you know as soon as we can and set a new one.

Please give us access to the work area on the scheduled day and clear stored items out of the way, since our crew can't work around boxes in an attic or a crawl space. For spray foam jobs, you agree to stay out of the area until our crew tells you it's safe to return. That re-entry time depends on the product and the job, and we'll go over it with you before we start.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (701) 299-5063 as early as you can. If we've ordered special materials or already started work before you cancel, you may be charged for those materials and for work completed, as stated in your written agreement.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, progress payments and the final amount due, are set out in your estimate or written agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's paid and may charge the late fees or collection costs allowed under North Dakota law and stated in your agreement. Any lien rights North Dakota law gives contractors stay in place.

Warranties and what this site doesn't promise

Any warranty on our work is the one written into your agreement with us. Insulation products also carry their makers' warranties, and we'll pass those on to you, but the maker, not us, decides what those cover.

Everything else on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors, and we don't promise any particular savings on your power bill or a set change in how warm or cool your house feels. Those depend on your house, how you use it and the weather. To the extent North Dakota law allows, we disclaim any warranty not stated in writing in your agreement.

Limits on our liability

To the extent North Dakota law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your home, lost income or energy costs, arising from your use of this site or from our work. Our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We also aren't responsible for problems caused by conditions we didn't create and couldn't reasonably see, such as existing roof leaks, plumbing leaks, wiring faults or framing damage, or for damage caused by work others do after we finish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If there's a problem

If you're unhappy with something, call us at (701) 299-5063 or reach us through our Contact page first, because most problems get sorted out fastest when we come back out and look at them together. Please give us a fair chance to fix the issue before taking any other step.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may bring a claim in the state courts of North Dakota in the county where the work was done, including small claims court where the amount qualifies. You and we each agree to that location for any lawsuit.

Which law applies

These terms, your use of this site and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the updated version takes effect when we post it here. The terms in place when you sign your agreement with us are the ones that apply to that job.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Your written agreement for a specific job wins over these terms where the two differ.
